How do I attach the Valley Lodge to my Motorhome?
Depending on the size and specification of your vehicle, there are 3 possible ways of attaching the awning to your motor home:
- Attach the self adhesive / velcro J rail (supplied), to your van, (ideally positioned 240 – 269cm from the ground). The beading on the edge of the awning slides into 1 side of the figure 8 channel supplied and the other side slides onto the J rail.
- If you have a wind out sun blind up to 269cm high from the ground (or lower), you could attach the awning direct to the sun blind by using a 6mm to 4mm adaptor, (not supplied with the awning).
- Using the eyelets on the corners of the tunnel area it may also be possible to attach guy line which can be thrown over the top of your vehicle and pegged down at the back of the motorhome.
The awning height is designed to fit motor homes with door heights of between 2.3 – 2.6 metres.
